I don't know if you noticed it or not - but the days are getting shorter and the nights are getting cooler. Much cooler!

We have gotten used to our monthly pot lucks but we know that our days on the porch are probably over for a while.... so wait til you hear what we're going to do now....

We plan to continue the monthly pot luck dinners but will move indoors until we get back to the warm time of the year! We have made arrangement with the Conewango Club in Warren (Second and Market St.) to use the Oak Room for our meals. If you haven't been there, the Oak Room is a beautifully decorated room with an Oak bar, Oak tables, Oak chair-railing - you get the idea. It also offers us a pool table, televisions and two bowling lanes. Our group will get exclusive use of the venue for the days we want to meet.

There is a cost - hold onto your wallets - admission is $1 per person unless you plan to bowl at which time the rates move up to $2 per person. Darned inflation!!

So... we would ask you to bring a whole plant based dish to share and join us at the Conewango Club in Warren, PA (2nd Ave and Market St.) on Sunday, Nov 11 at 5:00 pm. And - if you bring someone who's never come before - Crooked Cabin Farm will pay for you and your guests!!!

Crooked Cabin will bring some kind of "anchor dish" for everyone - but we look forward to trying new things with you... but please understand - if you are not able to bring something, we STILL want you to come.

Please place the day and time on you calendars (Sunday, Nov 11 - 5-7:30 pm) and join us for a Veterans Day whole plant based pot luck dinner.
